On May 28, 2018, a series of photogenic landspout tornadoes developed near Flagler, Colorado. These tornadoes formed along a stationary boundary under rapidly developing cumulus towers, a common occurrence in the high-elevation environment of Eastern Colorado.

According to the National Weather Service Goodland, these tornadoes were non-supercellular in nature, fueled by low-level horizontal spin being stretched vertically by intense updrafts. This footage documents the lifespan of these vortices as they moved across open rangeland, providing a clear look at the ground-level circulation and debris clouds.
